Dr. Hayduke customizes your laser treatment by using a combination of deep, medium and mild fractionated CO2 laser settings based upon your specific skin conditions and based upon the specific area (zone) of your face being treated. For the most stubborn skin issues (such as deep wrinkles around the mouth), Dr. Hayduke may choose a deep fully-ablative (non-fractionated) CO2 laser treatment. For younger patients (less than 45 years old) with very mild skin issues, Dr. Hayduke may opt for the gentler Erbium laser. For clients with problematic benign (non-cancerous) brown spots on their skin (ex: age spots, liver spots, solar lentigines, freckles, etc), Dr. Hayduke may choose to also use the Q-switched Neodymium:YAG (Nd:YAG) laser focused on just the worst brown spots themselves. An integral part of Dr. Hayduke’s technique is tightening your weakened and separated rectus abdominus muscles – known as rectus imbrication (strengthening your core). Surprisingly, some surgeons skip this step entirely. Since it is performed on the deep inner muscle layer, you would probably never truly know if your surgeon simply skipped this step. It also takes significantly more time to perform this additional maneuver properly. Dr. Hayduke meticulously tightens your loose (separated) abdominal muscles with permanent sutures – in a double layer reinforcing fashion. Breast augmentation does not correct significantly drooping breasts or low positioned nipple/areolas. If you want your breasts to look fuller and to be lifted due to significant sagging, a BREAST LIFT (MASTOPEXY) would be required in conjunction with your breast augmentation. Breast lifting can often be done at the same time as your augmentation or may require a separate operation. Dr. Hayduke will assist you in making your decision.
